The Club Nautic Llafranc was founded on April 30th, 1963 and was initially based on the Llafranc beach
However, as time went by the need to build a harbour arose in order to be able to improve the club’s infrastructure and to extend the services it offered.

All this became a reality in 1970, the year the club was inaugurated. At the onset, the club organised many motorboat and water ski competitions. But with the advent of tourism and the installation of mooring buoys in the coves, these activities diminished giving place to sailing.

The Santa Rosa Regatta are held every year at the end of August, are the oldest on the coast. The club has been organising regattas for these vessels since it was founded
Other important activities are three sailing European Championships (1975 FINN class and 2012 and 2013 OPEN 5.00 class), one of Spain Championship underwater photography (2005) and three sailing Catalan Championships (1975 and 1988 FINN class and 1990 LASER class).

Difficulty: Mediana
Distance: 10.75 km
Gradient ascent: 320.0 m
Gradient descent: 320.0 m
Signaling: Sí
Duration: 3 h 15 min
The route begins in Llafranc, where you arrive on highway GIV-6537 from Palafrugell. There is a car park near the river bed.
Once in Llafranc, you leave along Carrer Rafael Duran following the white and yellow markers of the PR-C 107 path. When the asphalt surface ends and after passing some blocks of flats, you continue to climb to the right, keeping to the main track.
After walking for 15 minutes the road begins to descend and bear left, after passing between two huts. A few metres further down you find a path on the left that leads to Can Mina dolmen. After visiting the dolmen you return to the main track.
6 or 7 minutes later, you come to a group of houses with signposts (km 1,62). Here you will come to the local path which crosses your route and goes off to the right, heading up to Sant Sebastià.
You have to continue straight along the PR-C-107. After 35 minutes, and once you have passed the Sant Sebastià junction, you turn left along the track that goes down and then climbs up again. Shortly afterwards you come to a small pass with several branching paths: you have to turn left and up and then, when the path begins to descend, take the flat road on the right.
After walking for almost an hour, past a bend on the left, you leave the main track and go down on a path on the right which begins on the far side of a chain strung across it (km 3.61).
You keep straight on past a couple of turnoffs to the right until you come to a small square with an asphalt surface. You keep on along the path until you come to a street in the housing estate that heads down.
20 minutes later you come to Tamariu. You then take the Camí de Ronda or coastal path that is also the route of GR-92, that you will follow until you reach Llafranc. Past the jetty you skirt the rocks and climb up the slope with a pine tree that leads to the track.
After 1 hour 45 minutes the pine wood begins. You have to follow the road through it, keeping to the edge of the rocks. You then go through a wider stretch and finally come back to the path. Shortly afterwards you come to Cala Pedrosa, still going down.
Past the cove you climb back up the stream along the marked path. When you come to the road (km 7.86) you turn left and keep straight on as far as the next junction. Once in the wood you follow the road upwards past a turnoff to the right (km 8.75) and cross the cliffs. When you pass the signposted junction, at which point you will once more meet up with the local path you first came upon at km 1.62, you keep straight on.
2 hours 45 minutes after setting out, you come to the Mirador de Ramboia. The viewpoint consists of a watchtower and an old chapel and hostelry on the Pla de Sant Sebastià. You go down the steps to the little square by the lighthouse and then take Carrer Pau Casals. You immediately turn left by the steps that lead to the yacht harbour.

Once a year the city of Girona transforms into a paradise for flower lovers.
During Flower Festival (from 11 – 19 May) inner squares, churches and streets are decorated with colorful flowers. The fragrance of the flowers welcomes you while you stroll through the streets and radiates its beauty.

This Flower Festival has been run for over 50 years and has developed a big following from all over Catalonia and the world.

The Cathedral steps are really pretty as are the gardens around the Arab Baths and through the patios of the old Jewish quarter (the Call).

Girona looks splendid at this time of year and is a truly delightful place to wander around taking in the small patios, chapels, street installation art and public buildings.
It is the best way to see some of the nicest private gardens and courtyards which are normally out of bounds to the average visitor.

La Cova d’en Gispert (Begur), located among Aiguaxelida and Aiguablava, is the longest and most spectacular of the sea caves in the Costa Brava.
Cova d’en Gispert provides for two days a year an amazing coincidence when the sun enlightens the interior completely, so that the sun’s rays reach the end of the cave. This phenomenon is called “Awakening of the sun in the Cove d’en Gispert,”

Cova d’en Gispert has aroused passions among many visitors. Probably the most famous reaction was that of Salvador Dalí. Deeply impressed by its interior acoustics, organized a private concert singing inside it, in the 60′s.

A total of 150 meters that can be sailed mostly by kayak, and where we never lose the entrance reference.

Have you already visited La Cova d’en Gispert?
